A subtle blend of the three main Bordeaux grape varieties, Château Peychaud is a fruity, unwooded wine, an authentic reflection of our terroir, with the search for balance as its guiding principle. We have chosen a high proportion of Cabernet in the blend, which brings fruit, a good tannic structure and a long aging potential. 2019 is a sunny and silky vintage.
“Beautiful dense ruby-purple color. Fruit, associated with sweet spices such as cinnamon. When swirled, the aromatic complexity takes hold, with notes ranging from morello cherry to spices, which gives it a lot of indulgence. A nicely long finish.”
Food & Wine Pairings: Perfect in any season. Its balance goes well with many dishes such as cold cuts, grilled meats, cuts of meat and cheeses. Fruit desserts.
Gold medal at the Bordeaux Vins d’Aquitaine competition.
