Character
A subtle blend of our three grape varieties, Château Peychaud is a fruity, unwooded wine, an authentic reflection of our terroir, with the search for balance as its guiding principle. The high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend brings fruitiness and a good tannic structure. 2020 is a powerful and silky vintage that will be pleasant to drink in its youth.

“Beautiful dense purple-ruby color. Fruit, associated with sweet spices such as cinnamon. When swirled, the aromatic complexity takes hold, with notes ranging from morello cherry to spices, which gives it a lot of indulgence. A nicely long finish.”

Food & Wine Pairings: Perfect in any season. Its balance goes well with many dishes such as cold cuts, grilled meats, cuts of meat and cheeses. Fruit desserts.

The Point: Round, supple mouth, fine tannins, spicy finish. 14.5/20
Wands (Japan): 90/100
