Château Peychaud wines are fruity, generous and full of character. Our aim is to strike a balance between innovation and tradition, with a priority on expressing our terroir and the experience of our elders. This involves:
vineyard
a work of the vine adapted to each plot and respectful of the land by limiting treatments,
A density of 5000 feet/ha and controlled yields so that the grape fully expresses all its aromatic complexity,
a trelling offering a large leaf surface, the natural grass of interrangs,
The search for optimal maturity of each grape variety,
chai
Sweet extraction of tannins, a vinification plot by plot and adapted to these as well as to the vintage,
Careful breeding, with a minimum duration of 18 months, whether in a vat or barrel, in order to give the aromas and tannins time to express themselves, to stabilize, to unify to form a harmonious structure,
A close collaboration with our Consulting Oenologist Mr. Sourdès, who has been working on the development of our wines for over 20 years,
and especially
A team of extremely rigorous and committed people, having a precise knowledge of each vine feet, climate, previous vintages, and who know better than anyone what a vineyard needs,
