Located in Ambarès-et-Lagrave, facing the vineyards of the Medoc, the chateau Peychaud was founded in the 17th century by the Marquis de Fayet, Councellor at the Bordeaux Parliament, and ancestor of the actual owners, the family de Pontac.

The three main Bordeaux varieties planted at chateau Peychaud: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot evolve on various gravel and alluvium soils, which give to the wine complexity and a superb expression of the fruit.

Since 2012, the two sisters de Pontac, Slanie and Elisabeth, produce red and Rosé wines in a pure Bordeaux style.
