A variety of terroirs...From the East of the domain on a soil of ‘Graves’ to the West in alluvial stones, the three main Bordeaux grape varieties evolve on various soils that give to our wines a beautiful complexity and expression of the fruit. The Merlot grape variety gives his charm, his generosity and roundness. Cabernet Sauvignon gives to the wine its tannic structure, aging potential and elegant aromas of red and black fruits. And the Cabernet Franc completes the final assembly by a delicate bouquet of red fruits. The proximity of the Atlantic Ocean and especially its estuary, the Gironde, provides benefic protection against excessive temperatures, and helps to a progressive maturation of the grapes. |
